Since my work is usually firmly centered in the digital realm, it is really fun to break out of that into the physical world from time to time.
So a couple of years ago I got into screen printing & here are some of the projects I've done with this technique.
I designed and printed the merch for the Flugmodus Festival this year. It is a comparatively small gathering of some beautiful faces that happens once a year close to Flensburg. It is completely nonprofit & volunteer driven. Since we almost sold every single piece on the first day, one could say it was a success.
Another project was with Rosbeh. He is an award-winning pianist, a good friend & generally a wonderful human being. So having the opportunity to collaborate with him on his merch was an honor & a pleasure. The design has a subtext which essentially describes itself, but to add one more thing and give credit to the original author - the Arabic characters at the bottom are a digitalization of a drawing made by Rosbeh’s Uncle.
I also created some merch for the collective I helped to start a couple of years ago, the ETE Kollektiv.
